Lakeland Mental Health Center (LMHC) expanded its service delivery into the Douglas County community in July 2009. LMHC’s Alexandria office is located at 700 Cedar St. Suite #154 in Alexandria. For information call (320) 762-2400.
The staff at the Alexandria office specialize in outpatient services for children and adults of all ages. Services consist of Individual and Family Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychiatric Assessments, Medication Management, and various Psychological Evaluations for children and adults.Emergency mental health services are available during business hours in all LMHC office locations for adults and children. On evenings, weekends and holidays a mental health professional can be accessed for a mental health emergency by calling the center's crisis services/hotline number at (800) 223-4512.
