Help Today for a Better Tomorrow |
Lakeland …(LMHC) is a private non-profit 501(c)3 corporation that has provided behavioral healthcare services in west central Minnesota since 1949. LMHC has an eleven (11) member Governing Board comprised of community members representing our service area.
Our Mission
"To promote healthy individuals, families and communities by providing high quality, accessible
behavioral healthcare."
To meet this broad mission and to be responsive to identified needs, many community partnerships have been formed with area schools, clinics and other community providers to ensure coordinated care for our clients ranging in age from from children to seniors. This ensures services can be brought closer to clients who do not live near a LMHC clinic.
Help Today for a Better Tomorrow

services to residents in West Central Minnesota with offices in Fergus Falls, Moorhead, Detroit

...an Endowment/How you can participate
An LMHC Endowment Fund was established in1996 with a gift of $25,000 from the estate of Mr. Cyrus Wright, a founding member of Lakeland Mental Health Center. Since its inception, the fund has continued to grow through memorials, appreciation, and estate planning.
You can help LMHC serve and address the behavioral healthcare needs of the region by making a tax deductible contribution to our endowment fund. A contribution can be made by either a direct donation or through estate planning. Your contribution is an investment in the future of our region/communities that will allow for growth of our current services and development of additional services/initiatives.
To receive additional information about how you can support LMHC or if you have questions regarding how funds may be utilized, please contact Clair Prody, Executive Director at
